Namibia playing in CAR Women Sevens

WINDHOEK, 12 APR (NAMPA) - Namibia kicked-off its Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) Women’s African Cup Sevens campaign on Saturday (today) with a match against Zimbabwe at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.
Hosts Kenya will clash with Madagascar when the tournament gets underway in the opening match at the same venue.
Namibia’s next fixture will be against Senegal before they wind up their pool fixtures with a match against defending champions South Africa, as they seek to emerge top of the group and vie for a place in the cup semis later on in the day.
There will also be a series of exhibition matches featuring the top four sides from the 2013 Safaricom Sevens Series, as well as the finals of the age grade and school girl’s categories.
