OTJIWARONGO, 07 APR (NAMPA) – A 25-year-old man died on Saturday evening after he was allegedly stabbed with a knife on the neck by his girlfriend at Farm Ozongombo in the Kalkfeld district.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol)’s Otjozondjupa Regional Public Relations’ Officer, Sergeant Maureen Mbeha identified the deceased as Fillimon Kheimseb.
His close relatives have been informed.
The deceased was stabbed once on the neck, and died on the spot inside their house at the farm.
“It is alleged that Kheimseb and his girlfriend had a physical fight between 23h00 and 24h00 inside their house at the farm,” Mbeha said.

She survived a deep stab wound, and is in a critical but stable condition in the Otjiwarongo State Hospital, Mbeha explained.
Three minor children of the suspect were asleep in that house when the police arrived at the scene.
