Police officer dies in girlfriend's room at Ondangwa: NamPol

WINDHOEK, 23 JUN (NAMPA) ? A member of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) died at the northern town of Ondangwa in the Oshana Region on Friday from a yet undetermined cause.
NamPol spokesperson, Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi told a media briefing here on Sunday afternoon that police officer Johannes Nuuyoma, 32, died instantly after he allegedly became unconscious while in his girlfriend?s bedroom on Friday at around 21h40.
Police investigations are now underway and a post-mortem will be conducted to determine his cause of death.
The police also reported that Immanuel Nakale, 92, ended his life in the early morning hours of Sunday at Onambambi village in the Oshana Region by hanging himself with a wire in his sleeping hut.
No suicide note was left behind by the deceased.
His next of kin have been informed of the death, and police investigations continue.
A 29-year-old man also ended his life at Onkani village in the Omusati Region?s Elim Constituency on Saturday.
Jose Padjelenga Nangolo?s body was found hanging from a tree in the bushes at the village by a passerby.
No suicide note was left behind and police investigations are underway to determine what forced the young man to end his life.
Meanwhile, a five-year-old boy, Johannes Tangeni Kamule, was found dead in the cucashop where he slept with his mother at Omuthiya in the Oshikoto Region on Friday at about 21h00.
The exact cause of the boy's death has not yet been established.
