The NDF Oshiponga (Danger) Cricket Club was established on 28 May 2012 and they currently have 20 men and eight women players, so they are relatively new and still growing.
In September 2013, NDF formed part of the Cricket Namibia League for the second successive year. They started the 2012/13 season in September 2012.
Although the results did not show it then, NDF’s cricket had a promising 2013/14 season where they achieved their maiden win against 2012/13 third league winners, WHSOBCC 3.
Theodor Heyman, Isedor Titus, Festus Shipanga and Carl Fortuin add good skills to the NDF setup. Fortuin and Hymane added multiple scores of 30 odds, while Titus and Festus are in the wickets column more than often. These players also represented NDF in the Annual EBH Coastal T20 Cup, which was very good for NDF's talent identification and they learnt a lot from other teams and players, as it is a social league.
The team is coached by High Performance and Under-19 National Coach, Rangarirai Manyande, at present. During the cricket season, NDF practices three times a week; Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at the Windhoek Gymnasium.
