Tigers vs Blue Waters in Bidvest Cup month-end

WINDHOEK, 17 FEB (NAMPA) - Tigers Football Club (FC) will take on coastal giants Blue Waters in the 2014 Bidvest Namibia Cup at the end of this month.
The fixture was decided during a draw for the Bidvest Namibia Cup Round of 16, which took place in the capital on Monday afternoon.
A media release issued by the Namibia Football Association on Monday said the venues of the games are still to be confirmed.
Tigers defeated Civics 1-0, while Blue Waters were 7-0 winners over Julinho Sporting in the previous round.
Orlando Pirates will face either African Stars or Eleven Arrows in the Round of 16.
Eleven Arrows and defending champions African Stars will clash this Saturday to determine the winner.
Pirates beat Eeshoke Chulachula 8-0 in the Round of 32.
“United Stars will play Blue Boys, with both sides aware that it won’t be easy to get the high scores they inflicted on the lower-division sides they faced in the last round. United won 3-1 against Touch & Go, and Blue Boys beat Omaheke Region’s Yong Africans 2-0,” read the statement.
It added that Premiership side Tura Magic will fancy their chances to go through to the quarterfinals as they are paired against Grootfontein‘s Tropical Heat. Magic beat KK Palace 2-0 to reach this stage, while Tropical Heat beat Spiders FC 4-2 in the previous round.
Kaizen Football Academy will face Ramblers, the former having won their last round match 5-0 against Young Tops, and Ramblers beating Omusati Region’s Young Stars 3-1.
The Erongo Region’s Blue Birds, on the back of their 7-0 win over Once Again from the Kavango Region, will face the winner of the Last-32 encounter between Black Africa and Cuca Tops.
Southern Stream First Division side Citizens, who won 3-2 against Mighty Gunners in the previous round, will take on league rival Bee Bob Brothers in the Last-16. Brothers came through to this stage courtesy of their 3-1 win over Kunene Regions Black Africa Warriors.
Rundu Chiefs await the winner of the Bush Bucks (Zambezi Region) and Mountain Rangers (Karas Region).
Chiefs beat Safile United 8-2 in the Round of 32.
